Recent Collections Court Cases

Img9.gifNational Collections Cases:

Link to recent caselaw from federal courts around the U.S. that may affect your collection policies and individual cases.

arizonae2.gifArizona Collections Cases:

Features collection, bankruptcy and related cases that originated in the state or federal courts of Arizona. Many of these collection cases were appealed to higher courts and, therefore, may have a legal precedent value outside Arizona. As well, many courts look to other state rulings for guidance on their own collection and other legal decisions.

In addition, since collection law is controlled by federal law to such a great extent, common judicial reasoning on collections cases is the norm; some exceptions, however, do occur and there are conflicts in the legal interpretations of collection laws. Always contact an attorney before relying on case law!
